REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT BRINGS $18 MILLION INVESTMENT TO SOUTHPORT
The City of Southport and project partners marked a monumental day for the City with the groundbreaking of a new apartment community. A catalyst for further economic development, The Jacob will bring increased population density to Southport, adding vibrancy and a high-quality housing on a key redevelopment parcel in downtown. The project is an $18 million investment to the community.
DISTRICT SOUTH BREAKS GROUND IN DOWNTOWN FISHERS
The City of Fishers, Rebar Development, and project partners broke ground on District South in downtown Fishers. The $33 million investment brings an urban village concept to the Nickel Plate District that includes a new headquarters for The Annex Group, as well as four additional buildings with office space, commercial suites, and apartment homes.
IU HEALTH BREAKS GROUND IN MCCORDSVILLE
Indiana University Health broke ground on a new location at McCord Square in McCordsville.
NINESTAR CONNECT MOVES FORWARD WITH MCCORD SQUARE OFFICE BUILDING
NineStar Connect plans to develop a new building at McCord Square, marking the second project formally announced in the 48-acre Town Center development anchored by McCord Square Apartments.
MIXED-USE URBAN VILLAGE COMING TO DOWNTOWN FISHERS
The City of Fishers’ City Council approved an agreement with Rebar Development, paving the way for the new District South development on the south side of South Street. The $32.5 million investment redevelops several under-utilized parcels and introduces an urban village concept that includes residences, the Annex headquarters building, micro-commercial suites, and connectivity to area business districts.
$18.3 MILLION INVESTMENT TO TRANSFORM FORMER GATKE SITE IN WARSAW
Rebar Development announced a new $18.3 million project at the former Gatke site in Warsaw, Indiana. The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing Gatke Warehouse and the development of a new market-rate apartment building on the former Gatke factory site.
INSIDE INDIANA BUSINESS: GROUND BROKEN ON $50M McCORDSVILLE DISTRICT
Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers joined officials from the town of McCordsville and Fishers-based Rebar Development to break ground on the first phase of the $50 million McCord Square Downtown District. In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Longman said the district is a long time in the making.

Project project partners, Fairway Mortgage, broke ground on its new regional headquarters at Techway in Fishers. The project also includes a trailhead plaza along the Nickel Plate Trail.

In May 2021, Rebar Development and the Town of Speedway broke ground on 1300 Block in the heart of Main Street in Speedway, Indiana.

Levinson opens: Noblesville’s first downtown apartments in 106 years
Noblesville officials and Rebar Development on Friday officially opened The Levinson, a $25 million mixed-use project. The Levinson provides the first new apartments in downtown Noblesville since 1915. The Levinson is a public-private project between Rebar Development and the City of Noblesville. Hagerman Inc. and Edwards-Rigdon Construction built the project and garage.
IBJ: McCORDSVILLE TO KICKSTART TOWN CENTER PROJECT WITH $40 MILLION FIRST PHASE
The creation of a downtown McCordsville could start with a pair of buildings featuring hundreds of apartments and neighborhood and several thousand square feet of retail, restaurant and office space.
