PENTHOUSE CONDOS AND MIXED-USE COMMUNITY BREAKS GROUND IN SPEEDWAY

SPEEDWAY, IN – Before the drivers start their engines this weekend, project partners and Speedway Town Officials started the excavator—officially breaking ground on 1300 Block on Main Street. The new development brings modern condos, apartments, retail and restaurant space, as well as a public plaza to the heart of Main Street Speedway between 13th and 14th streets. Also announced today, Le Peep is coming to Speedway and plans to open a restaurant on the first floor.

“We are excited to see another step in our redevelopment efforts come to fruition in the 1300 Block moving forward and what better time to celebrate this next step for Main Street than during race week in Speedway,” said Tim Gropp, Economic Development Director, Town of Speedway. “The project offers a unique ownership opportunity and brings public gathering space that will be enjoyed by  residents and visitors to Speedway for decades to come.”

A Rebar Development project, 1300 Block is a three-story building with penthouse condos, apartments and condos on the second floor, and retail and restaurant space on the first floor. The four penthouse condos offer two-bedrooms, open floor plans, high-end furnishings, and expansive outdoor terraces that overlook iconic Main Street with views of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. On the second floor there are two additional one-bedroom condos and eight one-bedroom modern apartment lofts with private balconies. Rounding out the development, the first floor offers 8,600 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space with outdoor seating and a new public plaza for community activation on the corner of 14th and Main streets.

Vine & Table also hosts personal consultation and to your door service—an amenity that is sure to be a hit with 1300 Block residents and the Speedway public. An additional 1,500 sq. ft. retail suite is still available for lease.
